Description
Domaine Chante Cigale is a well respected producer of Chateauneuf du Pape in the Southern Rhone, but this Pays de Mediteranee is a delicious, light, fresh wine made largely from Grenache.
‘Cicada’ is ruby red in colour with purplish reflections. On the nose, red fruits, raspberry, typical of young Grenache noir. On the palate, very aromatic and fresh supported by discreet, soft tannins.
Smooth, quaffing wine which is perfect if slightly chilled.
