Women in Wine Tasting

The charismatic Johnny Bingham is returning to pickles with another fantastic themed event – Women in Wine! Johnny represents Delibo Wine Agencies, and among their producers are a number of barnstorming ladies who are blazing a trail in the traditionally male dominated wine industry. On average, women make up less than 20% of the winemaking industry. Unsurprisingly, the US has only around 10-14% women in senior winemaking roles, whereas more forward thinking countries such as Australia, Chile & Spain have up to 50% female representation.

There’s a lot to explore in this topic, so join us as we sample the wines, hear the stories, learn the history (and enjoy a rather delicious cheese & meat platter to accompany…)
