Our family brewery was founded in 1624 in the Franconian town of Buttenheim between Bamberg and Erlangen.
Even today, our experienced master brewers brew their beer in a very traditional way according to old recipes and give our beers enough time to mature and develop their taste.
We are of the opinion that you can simply taste quality and so it goes without saying that we only buy and use the best raw materials.
We still do what we do best today: top quality beer specialties. Our own spring water, aromatic hops and Franconian brewing malt underline our top quality.
Every year they brew their brightly spicy festival beer with malt aromas and hop tartness.
