Buxton Brewery Company, located in Buxton, in the UK’s Peak District National Park first brewed in 2009 and has since gone on to be a widely recognised leader in the new wave of progressive and innovative UK craft breweries.
Weisse Quelle is pale straw in colour with a bready, lemony aroma.
Initial tartness from a gentle lactic souring process produces a clean, spritzy palate which is accentuated by high carbonation, low bitterness and more citrus and pine character from using Azacca and Talus as a dry hop addition.
If inclined, or to follow tradition, add a dash of sweet fruit syrup to balance the acidity for maximum refreshment.
