OK, we’re going there – Christmas!! Yes it’s coming & this is a perfect opportunity to stock up on delicious for the festive season and test out some gift ideas for those ‘hard to buy for’ loved ones… We will be showcasing our Christmas wine cases, so you can ‘try before you buy’, plus a cheeky selection of brandy, port & sherry to tempt you… We will have fizz on taste and a range of gift packaging so on the big day all you have to do is hand over the present & take the credit….
The format is that we will have several of our upstairs tables laden with goodies for you to sample. Grab a glass and a tasting sheet and off you go! Try as many samples as you like, and if you need any help with any of the wines or fortifieds, our fabulous staff will be on hand to pour and advise so you’ll be in safe hands. There will also be our cheeky ‘picklers discount’ for all purchases made or orders placed on the evening….
This is a largely standing event but there will be some seating upstairs and of course our downstairs bar is available for you to use if required. There is no food provided as part of the event, but you are more than welcome to order something from our food menu to enjoy either before, during or after the event.

(We would remind all customers that regardless of circumstance, ticket sales are final. All tickets for tasting events must be paid for in full, in advance and, once purchased, all sales for ticketed tasting events are final, non refundable, non returnable and non transferable, unless cancelled by pickles. You won’t need a physical ticket to attend the event, once we receive your booking information you will be added to our guest list. If you are unable to attend an event, you may give the ticket to someone else.)
