It Must Be Newton is a crossover brew that bridges distinct brewing traditions.
Pouring with the glowing, opaque haze and soft mouthfeel of a classic East Coast IPA. At its heart, however, it champions the innovation of modern British agriculture by featuring Olicana and Harlequin hops.
Together, these new-wave UK varieties deliver a massive, juice-forward punch, flooding the palate with bright, tropical notes of mango, passionfruit, peach, and pineapple.
Yet, just as you expect a purely sweet, juice-like experience, the beer takes a sharp pivot. Instead of a lingering fruitiness, it finishes with the crisp, assertive bite of a traditional West Coast IPA. This clean, resinous bitterness perfectly cuts through the intense tropical flavours up front, cleansing the palate and making this hybrid brew exceptionally refreshing and highly drinkable.
