Join us for an evening of spooky storytelling with Chester tourist guide David Atkinson.
Expect tales of Chester’s rich, dark-tourism heritage based on David’s award-winning walking tour and his new book, A Dark History of Chester (Amberley) as we explore the folklore behind All Hallows’ Eve.
Tales of witch trials, monastic superstitions and Chester’s infamous exorcism, amongst others, reveal a darker take on Chester’s 2000-year heritage.
Buy drinks at the bar downstairs then head upstairs for storytelling with the event ending around 9pm. Drinks available in the bar afterwards where David will be selling and signing copies of his book.
