Cosy Reds
Uggiano Sangiovese & Syrah Toscana 2024 – £12.25 (2 bottles)
Pure fresh red fruits on the nose with notes of redcurrant and morello cherries. The palate has ripe plum and bramble notes along with bright red cherry fruit. Supple, structured tannins and balancing acidity give a full finish.
Nieto Senetiner – Malbec 2025 – £14.50 (2 bottles)
Nieto Senetiner Malbec from the Mendoza region is full bodied with great concentration of vanilla, mocha, blackberries, sweet spices and clove. The palate is rich and warming with vanilla, more black fruit, plums and cherries, as well as leathery notes. The wine is vibrant and well structured, with powdery, fragrant tannins.
Winning Whites
Montresor Soave Classico ‘Gran Guardia’ 2025- £13.00 (2 bottles)
An excellent example of good quality Soave Classico, fresh and lightly fruity with delicate floral aromas of honeysuckle, elderflower and a hint of spice. Crisp and refreshing on the palate with good depth of honeyed fruit, and a clean, lightly nutty finish.
Cave de l’Ormarine Carte Noire, AOP Picpoul de Pinet 2025 – £12.75 (2 bottles)
Gentle aromas of ripe white fruits, and citrus. Well balanced and lively on the palate with ripe fruit and lemon flesh characteristics. A weighty feel to it, this wine has bright, zesty acidity and a clean, saline finish.
‘Spoil Me’ Red
Fior di Sole ‘Long Barn’ Pinot Noir, Napa Valley 2025 – £18.50.25 (1 bottle)
The complex and mature bouquet offers rich fruit aromas, along with hints of spice and notes of raisined fruit layered with tobacco and leather. Elegant and velvety, this is classic Gran Reserva Rioja.
‘Spoil Me’ White
Santa Seraffa – Gavi del Comune di Gavi 2025 – £16.50 (1 bottle)
A fine and pure expression of Gavi with pretty aromas of flora, citrus and green apple combined with more complex hints of frangipane. The palate has apple and lemon characters, and an appealing weight and minerality. The finish is textural, long and defined.
Le Veuve Valmante Brut NV- £10.00 (1 bottle)
It has a pale golden colour and a soft layer of bubbles, with a fresh and fruity nose showing hints of light summer fruits and white flowers. On the palate soft apple and citrus notes are accompanied by a fresh acidity and persistent mousse for an off-dry finish.

This young ruby port is dark red colour with a fresh aroma of dark fruits which follows through on the palate along with an almost mineral character, a youthful wine with great balance and “drinkability”. Ready to drink now after a meal on its own or with soft cheeses.
