Description
An XO Cognac from Maxime Trijol, made using grapes from various crus within the region. The family began distilling in 1859 and Maxime set up his own distillery in 1962.
Maxime Trijol XO on the nose has spices, very fruity, oaky and tangy with mixed peels, mainly orange. The palate is woody, dry, all sorts of intense caramel, very fruity, butterscotch. The finish is medium to long finish, tangy and toasty.
