Born from a passion for brewing and an uncompromising approach to flavour, Toby and Caroline founded Macclesfield’s award winning Red Willow Brewery in late 2010. Our objective was simply to make the types of beer that we love to drink, big in flavour, well balanced and very drinkable.
A carefully selected array of specialty malts come together in this deeper, more contemplative ode to the Baltic Porter.
Primary fermentation in a cherry-wood foeder brings gentle structure and a soft, rounded, complexity before lagering.
Smooth and deceptively easy-drinking, with dark fruit and hints of tobacco, layered with subtle toasted wood and burnt caramel while remaining balanced and quietly expressive.
