Domaine Chavet et Fils is a deliciously unoaked Chardonnay from the village of Saint Veran in the Maconnais region of Burgundy, which is much further South than the more well-known village of Chablis.
Elegant, clean, crisp, not overly fruity and a refreshing finish. This is a fantastic wine, guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser, and a great alternative to a Chablis.
